About Me

My interest in photography started in my early 20's. I spent a very satisfying 30 year career in Environmental, Health & Safety Management and am now pursuing my passion for photography.  I have lived in many parts of the United States, but my wife and two Boxers now call Boise, Idaho home.

I am a self-taught photographer and enjoy many genres of photography. I have been photographing for 30 years and have learned much in that time. I have been perfecting my craft for the last eight years with the goal of having my own business which is now a reality. Allen Baxter Photography Services started in 2015.  I use the latest equipment and technology for both capturing images and post processing. I provide real estate, event (wedding, engagements, parties, and photo-journalistic documentation of events),  portraiture services, and private/small group instruction. I do specialize in 360 degree panoramic photography and am a certified Google Trusted photographer.

I am passionate about providing the highest quality of images for my clients and I am not satisfied until my client is happy with the final product. I do not request payment until you as the client are satisfied. I look forward to the opportunity to capture those special moments for you or help you learn more about photography, post processing, or specific techniques.

I do a majority of my work on location, but I do have a small studio at my house.
